How to stream a game with RosterMetrix's scorebug
Updated October 7, 2026
RosterMetrix's scorebug sits over your video and moves on its own with every pitch you score: the count, the bases, the outs and the runs, home runs, pitching changes and the final. It works with Mevo, OBS and Prism, and there is nothing to install.
1. Get the scorebug's link
On the game's page tap «Stream» (the commissioner, the game's scorer and both clubs' managers see it). Tap «Open the scorebug» and then «Copy link». In the Scorebook, open the game and tap «Stream» in its menu.
The link is the key: whoever has it sees the scorebug. If it is shared where it should not be, tap «Change link» and the old one stops working at once.
2. In Mevo
Open Mevo Studio (version 4.2 or newer) and, in your scene, add a new «Browser Source» or «Web» source. Paste the scorebug link. The scorebug takes the bottom-left corner, as on TV.
Before the first game, test it: open a game, score a few pitches from the phone and check that the scorebug changes in Mevo. If its background shows a color instead of transparent, turn on «Chroma background» in «Stream» and key out the green in your app.
In OBS or Streamlabs
Add a «Browser» source, paste the link and set it to 1920 × 1080. Keep it above the camera in the source list. With a Mevo camera you can also bring its picture into OBS and lay the scorebug there.
In Prism Live (phone)
In Prism, add a web widget or browser layer with the scorebug link, over the camera. Facebook Live or YouTube from their own apps do not allow layers: for the scorebug use Prism, Mevo or OBS.
What shows on its own and what you launch
Shows on its own with the scoring: the home run, the pitching change, a fun fact from Don Múcaro when an inning closes, the featured player when a league leader bats, and the final. Each can be switched off in «Stream».
You launch whenever you like: the featured player you choose, a fun fact or the standings. You can also hide the scorebug for a moment.
If the signal drops
The scorebug holds still with the last it knew and carries on as soon as the connection is back. With the Scorebook, the phone keeps every play and uploads it when the signal returns.
