How to install RosterMetrix on your phone

Updated 30 September 2026

RosterMetrix doesn’t come from an app store: it installs from the browser in under a minute and sits on your home screen like any other app. Pick your phone and follow the steps.

First open your league's or team's page and follow the steps from there: that way the app opens right on it.
Your phone
  1. Open your league's or team's page in Safari.

  2. Tap the Share button.

Don't see it? Tap ⋯ in Safari's bar first. In Chrome on iPhone, Share is next to the address.

  3. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”.

If it isn't there, tap “Edit Actions” at the bottom of the list and add it.

  4. Leave “Open as Web App” on and tap “Add”.

Older versions of iOS don't show that switch: just tap “Add”.

What you get by installing it

Installed, RosterMetrix opens in one tap from your home screen, straight to your league or team, full screen and without the browser’s bars. It is the same site with the same up-to-date data: it takes almost no space and there is nothing to update by hand.

It works for everyone: the fan following their team, the player checking their card, and the manager or scorekeeper entering games from the field.

Notices about games and results

With the app installed you can get your league’s notices: schedule changes, results and each game’s MVP. Turn them on inside the league, under More → Notices.

On iPhone, notices only arrive with the app installed on the home screen; they don’t work from a Safari tab.

Always up to date

The app updates itself. When there is a new version a notice appears with an “Update” button, and it never reloads without asking, so you never lose a half-entered sheet.

If the install option doesn’t appear

If you opened the link from WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, you may be inside that app’s own browser, which can’t install anything. Look for “Open in browser” (or in Safari, or in Chrome) in its menu and follow the steps from there.

Use Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android, outside private or incognito mode, with the browser up to date. Chrome works on iPhone too.

If you already installed it, the browser won’t offer it again: look for it on your home screen or in your app list.

What about a computer?

It installs on a computer too. In Chrome or Edge, open your league’s page and click the install icon at the right of the address bar. On a Mac with Safari, use File → Add to Dock.

How to remove it

Like any other app: press and hold its icon and choose to remove or uninstall it. Your league loses nothing, because the data lives on RosterMetrix, not on the phone.
